

It’s this extra depth that helps Dustoff Z shine compared to its predecessor. This adds depth to the gameplay, allowing you to choose your shooters and copter, and work on strengthening them. You unlock more of these gun-toting folk along the way, each with different stats for accuracy, rate of fire and damage. For example, you can take two passengers with you on your missions, who act as snipers to protect you.

These bonuses are important they can be used to upgrade your weapons and helicopters, improving your stats and giving you an edge against the undead. These stars are based on the time taken, number of casualties, and actually finishing the level. Completion of levels earns you up to three stars, each of which equates to cash or food rewards. You can always go back and try again on a harder grade. So, if there’s a particularly hard level, you can lighten the load for yourself to keep progressing. There are three difficulty modes that can be changed on the fly before starting each mission.

They’re short and sweet enough to make this the perfect game for on-the-go play. The missions involve rescuing civilians, protecting convoys, or defeating oversized zombie bosses in side-scrolling levels. As a helicopter pilot, your role is to complete 30 missions to help rebuild society. The premise is simple-your world has been overrun by zombies. I’m happy to report that this game is just as fun as the previous iteration, with fewer flaws and overall tighter gameplay. I enjoyed that game, despite a few flaws, and was excited to see what a zombie-themed version of the helicopter sim could bring to the table.
